The reunion was indeed a success! From the 240 graduates, 20 who were exhange students are no where to be
found, 90 are abroad and 110 are believed to be in the Philippines. 74 of the 110 showed up and celebrated with us!!! Not
bad, not bad at all. We broke the Matina-reunion record by 14 people!
We would like to thank the following:
1. Bunny and Rico for spearheading the reunion
2. Francis Juan who so generously accommodated us in Pier 1. Our biggest, biggest THANKS to him!!! Without
him, reunion would have remained a mere plan.
3. Carol Andreu, our hard-working programs director
4. Cecille Benavides, who so patiently and persistently called, emailed and
texted to invite all our classmates
5 Jing Gelano, who mustered all the courage to handle the funds, which no
else wanted to handle. And who found the time to help Bunny with
logistics.
6. Mia Marchadesch who designed our very attractive banner!!
7. Rita Saguin who persistently solicited donations, prizes....
8. Trish Tiongson and Yvette Bachmann who graciously charmed our batchmates and teachers during registration.
Believe me, sa registration pa lang, masaya na!!!
9. Kinu Garcia for our eye-catching air balloons!
10. Pepelou Avecilla who, without a doubt, is a Grade-A Host!! Never did we have a dull moment that entire
night!! Mind you, that's non-stop hilarious hosting from 6:30pm till almost 1am Friday morning!
11. Lino Dacanay who graciously rendered his services to document the night's affair and supplied the blank
CDs for our VCD souvenir at a "subsidized" rate.
12. For our fellow batchmates who donated prizes! (I didn't memorize them but they're thanked and included
in the souvenir VCD.
We are still waiting for more pictures from others (Marissa Prats, Christine Jacob, Joy Chua, Lino Dacanay,
Mia Marchadesch, Michelle Basco, etc.) Meron pa kasing picture gimmick wherein we asked ALL the boys who attended to
have their group picture with Fr. Galende and the teachers. Same with ALL the girls. Then we also had our
"class" pictures taken (4A to 4F). Besol, had her picture taken 2x -- di nya alam kung anong section sya nung 4th
year! Of course, that called for another alaskahan!
